Folkways
1. Legends:
a. Pasong Pare - One day, at noon, a farmer was pasturing his carabaos at Pasong Pare when, from among the bushes, appeared a big tall priest with a long beard. The priest beckoned to the farmer but the farmer, afraid of the apparition, ran off. When he glanced back, he found the priest gone. The barrio folks believed that the priest was the form of those buried alive thereabouts by the natives during the revolution. The place has been known as "Pasong Pare" ever since.
b. There used to be a grassy part in Muntinlupa through which the trail used by travelers passed from Las PiƱas to the south or from Laguna to the north. Robbers used this spot for waylaying travelers and acted like demons as they did so. This place is now called "Pasong Diablo."
